All are about lawyers and the law.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, I read one of his more recent novels: <em>Camino Island<\/em> (Dell Books, 2018). Here, Grisham firmly breaks with tradition. <em>Camino Island<\/em> has nothing to do with lawyers.<\/p>\n<p>It does, though, involve a robbery (of priceless manuscripts from the Princeton University library). It involves a young writer. Her name is Mercer Mann. It also involves a bookshop (on a pretty island off the coast of Florida) and that bookshop&#8217;s owner, Bruce\u2014a possible love interest for Grisham to dangle in front of the lonely Mercer.<\/p>\n<p><em>Camino Island<\/em> does not disappoint.
